2022 FALL WOMEN’S RETREAT ANNUAL REPORT
Our theme was: Seeing through the Lens of the Holy

When the eye opens, it shows that the world and others are outside us, distant from us…Love is the light in which we see each thing in its true origin, nature, and destiny. If we could look at the world in a loving way, then the world would rise us before us full of invitation, possibility and depth.”

On October 14, several of us traveled to Cincinnati for the Women’s Retreat: Donna DeRemer-Hissrich, Tricia Herban, Mary Bailey, Karen Kuhr, Melissa Christophersen-Redmill, and Judy Gallucci, along with our Facilitator, Barb Hubbell.
On Saturday we were to use our senses of Touch, Taste, Smell and Hearing. We were encouraged to set aside knowing about it – defining it – judging it. We were asked to go and just be present in nature and creation. We walked the grounds
and each of us brought back pictures of something that we saw while out walking the grounds that shimmered in our hearts. We each sent one or two photos to Barb.
In closing, Barb put them all together in a slide show and when the photo we took came up, we talked about what it was and why it shimmered in our hearts.
